In the 20th minute, Manuel Trifănucă got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valer Opaina in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 73rdth minute of the game Valer Opaina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valer Opaina in the 74th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Sven Krakouer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. UNIREA FOCSANI's Dorel Postelnicu was substituted for Cristinel Dejeu. If Viorel Brănet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Viorel Brănet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Viorel Brănet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valer Opaina went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alan Eenmaa in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th minute Ferdinand Medrea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the UNIREA FOCSANI players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
