Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ulf Nordlander started the match with the kick off. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silviu Novac in the 6th minute of play. Ulf Nordlander blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnout Reekers having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulf Nordlander got free with Arnout Reekers in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Östen Hedin in the 15th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led to Netherlands's David Eikelkamp getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Östen Hedin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Östen Hedin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 27 minutes DIF LEEDS BK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. Brazilio Butt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Gustaaf Groeneveldt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brazilio Butt was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Brazilio Butt came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Wim Wilmes. But to his dismay, Wim Wilmes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Östen Hedin in the 43rd minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gijsbert ter Kruimer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silviu Novac in the 54th minute of play. The supporters of Netherlands booed when DIF LEEDS BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dan Verhoeven didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute, a hard, long distance shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a good shot from long distance 56 minutes into the match, but Brazilio Butt was on his toes and read the play so well that he without major difficulties grabbed hold of the ball before it went into the goal in the upper right corner. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tanek Bobrowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brazilio Butt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Meesters in the 59th minute of play. A collision led to DIF LEEDS BK getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Jörgen Beckman hit a great ball. Brazilio Butt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Meesters, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mei Jie Feng in the 73rd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Netherlands defense, Östen Hedin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnout Reekers. The Netherlands fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnout Reekers should have stopped the shot. After 80 minutes DIF LEEDS BK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. Brazilio Butt made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Wim Wilmes sent off a good shot on target. In the 85th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brazilio Butt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87thth minute of the game Wim Wilmes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DIF LEEDS BK's Brazilio Butt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tanek Bobrowski during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 89 played minutes DIF LEEDS BK got a freekick which was hit by Tanek Bobrowski. In the 92nd minute Östen Hedin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The DIF LEEDS BK players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
