But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Natalio Restu couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Tono in the 18th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on ⭐Ƒꭙ⭐ Ex Inferis's corner Raimundo Reynardo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Wilson Amorim quite easily take care of the ball. ⭐Ƒꭙ⭐ Ex Inferis's Agustin Goyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 24th minute of play. Agustin Goyo made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Felipe Barreto sent off a good shot on target. Agustin Goyo was a little too slow when Felipe Barreto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 1-1. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Tono in the 35th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, ⭐Ƒꭙ⭐ Ex Inferis's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Agustin Goyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felipe Barreto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Agustin Goyo made a huge save. 46 minutes into the game, Viriato Moura cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Agustin Goyo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The Portugal fans' excitement grew in the 98th match minute when Portugal's Felipinho Amorim looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Portugal were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
