After 14 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. Frank Sachs scored 0-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 江康银, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Albin Holweck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. 江康银 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 江康银 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 22nd minute of the match. A collision led to 延边朝鲜族足球俱乐部 getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. 龚浩南 hit a great ball. In the 24th minute of the match Frank Sachs shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but 江康银 showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 26th minute, Albin Holweck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 江康银 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frank Sachs went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 45th minute, Janik Vogt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, 潘竞洲 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and 潘竞洲 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Sachs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, 延边朝鲜族足球俱乐部's 江康银 got control of the ball when Frank Sachs tried to sneak it across the goal line. 潘竞洲 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 潘竞洲 in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Linus Schwerner hit a great ball. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 潘竞洲's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. After 76 minutes, Albin Holweck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Germany and the 延边朝鲜族足球俱乐部 players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of 延边朝鲜族足球俱乐部 booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albin Holweck didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Germany supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Germany would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
