Zaccheo Andolina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 2nd minute of the match, but Julio-César van Beek made a huge save. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iurie Macovei in the 8th minute of the match. With his leg Julio-César van Beek managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Italy's Zaccheo Andolina fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 15th minute, Zena Busacca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio-César van Beek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 20th minute of play. After 47 minutes Altza Herria's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sigfrido Auletta who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Zaccheo Andolina got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio-César van Beek quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Altza Herria's 康鸿潮 was substituted for Arsi Eronen. The wind increased when Aykut Bartu made the kick off in the second half. Aykut Bartu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Vittori having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Altza Herria's Conrado Pastor got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 65thth minute of the game Zaccheo Andolina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Altza Herria's Julio-César van Beek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Italy's Flavio Vittori proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Italy from getting a goal against them. In the 68th minute, Italy's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Medero Barral fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Altza Herria's Richie Carmona was substituted for Alvito Villa. In the 72nd match minute, Altza Herria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Medero Barral to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Altza Herria's zone, Sigfrido Auletta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio-César van Beek came out of the goal and Sigfrido Auletta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 79 minutes, Medero Barral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Altza Herria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Medero Barral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85thth minute of the game Aykut Bartu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Italy's Flavio Vittori was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Altza Herria's Conrado Pastor got a free kick in the 88th minute. Italy's Guiscardo Davide was substituted for Sigfrido Auletta. The supporters of Italy booed when Altza Herria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Pastor didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute of the match Italy got a corner. Altza Herria's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Siricio Liotta ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Italy's Eliseo Cutri to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio-César van Beek despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
