Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cássio Cortez made the kick off which started today's match. Viriato Caires's late challenge caught a Netherlands's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Viriato Caires helped the player get up and apologised. After 3 played minutes LeoMel F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Viriato Caires. After 4 minutes of play, Netherlands's David Eikelkamp made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rogério Boaventura was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 9 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Lars Meesters. After 12 minutes LeoMel F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a great header on Netherlands's corner, it was just that LeoMel F.C.'s Rogério Boaventura managed to reach the ball for a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cássio Cortez in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnout Reekers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in LeoMel F.C.'s zone, Gijsbert ter Kruimer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rogério Boaventura came out of the goal and Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute, Wim Wilmes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. David Eikelkamp hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rogério Boaventura, 2-0. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hipólito Peralta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 29th minute of play forced LeoMel F.C.'s goalkeeper Rogério Boaventura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Catarino Gueifão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute, Catarino Gueifão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnout Reekers was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Rogério Boaventura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. David Eikelkamp who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Rogério Boaventura when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 40 minutes into the match, LeoMel F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Rogério Boaventura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wim Wilmes might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rogério Boaventura. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wim Wilmes ran back to his position shaking his head. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gijsbert ter Kruimer to make the kick off. Rogério Boaventura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 51st minute of the match. When Netherlands's Wim Wilmes in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LeoMel F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 54th minute of play forced LeoMel F.C.'s goalkeeper Rogério Boaventura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute, Idalécio Luz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58thth minute of the game Cássio Cortez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Netherlands's Arnout Reekers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wim Wilmes might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rogério Boaventura. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wim Wilmes ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Catarino Gueifão in the 63rd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Eikelkamp kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in LeoMel F.C.'s zone, Lars Meesters stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rogério Boaventura came out of the goal and Lars Meesters tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. LeoMel F.C. made a substitution. Adriano Lemos replaced Catarino Gueifão. Rogério Boaventura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Meesters in the 70th minute of play. David Eikelkamp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rogério Boaventura read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Gustaaf Groeneveldt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rogério Boaventura was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. In the 77th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Boaventura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hipólito Peralta got free with Arnout Reekers in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 80 minutes into the game, Wim Wilmes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Rogério Boaventura was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Hipólito Peralta came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the LeoMel F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hipólito Peralta couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the LeoMel F.C. defense, Wim Wilmes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rogério Boaventura. The LeoMel F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rogério Boaventura should have stopped the shot. Rogério Boaventura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio Cortez in the 90th minute of the match. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Hipólito Peralta tried to sneak it across the goal line. There was no doubt that Netherlands were the better team. Netherlands's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
