The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Fabio Schneider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Roman Tim Tfaruk booed when Austria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Schneider didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 30 minutes, Fabio Schneider managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Austria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabio Schneider was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pawel Pan to make the kick off. Fabio Auer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pawel Pan in the 54th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Kacper Naskrent hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabio Auer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kazimierz Rostow went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Fabio Auer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fryderyk Lewkowicz's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. 95 minutes into the match, Kazimierz Rostow had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabio Auer. Austria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kazimierz Rostow was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Roman Tim Tfaruk were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Austria for a fine match.
