Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with the kick off. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeo Frans in the 4th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 6th minute of play forced YR☆ Village Superstars's goalkeeper Aurelian Panin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filip Hâldan in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aurelian Panin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Frans in the 14th minute of play. YR☆ Village Superstars's Aurelian Panin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. YR☆ Village Superstars's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeo Frans in the 20th minute of the match. Arnout Reekers was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Amadeo Frans capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Amadeo Frans really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Aurelian Panin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 28th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aurelian Panin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matei Chelaru to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Amadeo Frans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Moez Bejaoui went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wim Wilmes got free with Aurelian Panin in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Wim Wilmes struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Aurelian Panin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. If David Eikelkamp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind YR☆ Village Superstars's goalkeeper Aurelian Panin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moez Bejaoui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute Moez Bejaoui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to YR☆ Village Superstars getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Filip Hâldan hit a great ball. 93 minutes into the match, YR☆ Village Superstars's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Meesters came free, but Aurelian Panin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 94 minutes YR☆ Village Superstars's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Wim Wilmes heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely.
