After a rather tough play, Portugal's Fabricio Andrade got a free kick in the 18th minute. Los Desperados Szczecin's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wieslaw Bykowski in the 20th minute. The supporters of Portugal booed when Los Desperados Szczecin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Bondel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Los Desperados Szczecin's attentive Gustaw Fafinski managed to snatch the ball when Graciano Coutinho made a throw-in in the 54th minute of the game. In the 55th minute, Daniel Pimentel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 56th minute, Felipe Barreto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacek Henryk was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4. Wilson Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! Los Desperados Szczecin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dariusz Brysz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Los Desperados Szczecin left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Portugal.
