In the 10th match minute, Slovakia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vavrinec Koleno to maneuver through the defense. 董兴景 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliver Holub, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Metod Mlynar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 董兴景 having to interfere. Henrich Slany showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 孙潮树, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 陈延响 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Henrich Slany tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oliver Holub charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oliver Holub the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th minute, Oliver Holub hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Slovakia's Henrich Slany played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 杜真勇 in the 35th minute of play. Henrich Slany showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 杜真勇, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. A throw-in in the 46th minute of the game was made by 沈翔风 with 孙潮树 as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Zigmund Maliar kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Metod Mlynar to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Slovakia's zone, 杜真勇 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrich Slany came out of the goal and 杜真勇 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 董兴景 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Metod Mlynar, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 陶笑南 during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Slovakia getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Kornel Jahoda hit a great ball. In the 58th minute of the match, 陈延响 tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Henrich Slany saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Henrich Slany made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when 杜真勇 sent off a good shot on target. If Metod Mlynar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 64 minutes of play, 去有风的地方's 孙潮树 made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henrich Slany was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 68th minute 陈延响 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrich Slany saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Slovakia's goalkeeper Henrich Slany had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 陈延响. 董兴景 came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Slovakia's Metod Mlynar. But to his dismay, Metod Mlynar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Metod Mlynar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 董兴景 having to interfere. During the 85th minute of the match Oliver Holub completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Oliver Holub a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of 去有风的地方 booed when Slovakia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oliver Holub didn't get a good kick on the ball. Slovakia's Henrich Slany played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 陈延响 in the 92nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when 陈延响 got free with Henrich Slany in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Metod Mlynar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 董兴景 having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched 去有风的地方 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
