The Serbia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Guldhedstornet BK were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sreten Popovic to strike the kick off in the second half. Serbia's attentive Miljan Gavrilovic managed to snatch the ball when Reine Törnkvist made a throw-in in the 58th minute of the game. Alfons Myr took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sreten Popovic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jim Jönsson during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 61st match minute, Guldhedstornet BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jim Jönsson to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, Serbia's goalkeeper Zvezdan Nedeljkovic had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Herman Söderlund. Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herman Söderlund in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Guldhedstornet BK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
