Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Navigators's Wit Lampa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Navigators's Yavuz Bülent Akbatu got control of the ball when Edward Vanderstraeten tried to sneak it across the goal line. Casper Claes came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Navigators's Wit Lampa. But to his dismay, Wit Lampa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Belgium booed when Navigators was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Güralp Okanay didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute of the match Belgium got a corner. Navigators's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edward Vanderstraeten ran over to the corner to take the kick. Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Yavuz Bülent Akbatu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Yavuz Bülent Akbatu made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. Siebe Michiels received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Yavuz Bülent Akbatu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 28 played minutes Belgium got a freekick which was hit by Edward Vanderstraeten. In the 32nd minute Güralp Okanay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yu Ke Hui in the 33rd minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Navigators's Yavuz Bülent Akbatu got control of the ball when Edward Vanderstraeten tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edward Vanderstraeten to make the kick off. Güralp Okanay kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. With his leg Casper Claes managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Navigators's Wit Lampa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 54 minutes into the game, Kostas Kelaidonis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Navigators's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Belgium the free kick. After a rather tough play, Navigators's Kostas Kelaidonis got a free kick in the 54th minute. The audience was convinced that Edward Vanderstraeten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yavuz Bülent Akbatu was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. 57 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Wit Lampa came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Navigators's goalkeeper Yavuz Bülent Akbatu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wit Lampa in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Casper Claes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 60th match minute, Navigators was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Güralp Okanay to maneuver through the defense. Navigators made a substitution. Özbek Tokur replaced Güralp Okanay. Navigators made a substitution. Ahmet Malik replaced Kostas Kelaidonis. In the 62nd minute, Güralp Okanay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edward Vanderstraeten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yavuz Bülent Akbatu having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 65th minute of play forced Navigators's goalkeeper Yavuz Bülent Akbatu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belgium's supporters rose to their feet, but Edward Vanderstraeten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yavuz Bülent Akbatu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Belgium's zone, Özbek Tokur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casper Claes came out of the goal and Özbek Tokur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Belgium's Casper Claes got control of the ball when Wit Lampa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahmet Malik in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casper Claes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yu Ke Hui took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Casper Claes. Casper Claes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2.
