Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Erling Bennet got the match started through his kick off. 10 minutes into the match, Band Of Brothers's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Hami Tuna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute, Wim Wilmes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erling Bennet in the 15th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anders Kielberg got free with Arnout Reekers in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 23rd minute, Jonas Lövkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hami Tuna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hami Tuna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Meesters in the 27th minute of play. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Netherlands's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Patrik Billvall was slow to take the kick. During this time Band Of Brothers's players had a chance to rest. In the 30th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustaaf Groeneveldt to maneuver through the defense. Erling Bennet took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 35 minutes into the match, Band Of Brothers's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Hami Tuna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer to fire away a dangerous shot which Hami Tuna despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Erling Bennet's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Arnout Reekers skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 40 minutes into the game, Erling Bennet lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Arnout Reekers. A collision led to Band Of Brothers getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Lars Granum hit a great ball. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hami Tuna. Band Of Brothers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Band Of Brothers's Hami Tuna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 45th minute of play. Egbert Nijveldt hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Patrik Billvall managed to get in a good position for a shot. Band Of Brothers's supporters rose to their feet, but Patrik Billvall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnout Reekers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute Erling Bennet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Netherlands defense, Carl Caniggia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnout Reekers. The Netherlands fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnout Reekers should have stopped the shot. 65 minutes into the game, Gijsbert ter Kruimer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Hami Tuna was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hami Tuna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bas Tuitert, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Mathijn Doctor got a free kick in the 69th minute. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anders Holmgren in the 71st minute of play. The supporters of Band Of Brothers booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathijn Doctor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anders Holmgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vilgot Falk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Band Of Brothers's Christian Engström was substituted for Vilgot Falk. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Band Of Brothers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrik Billvall didn't get a good kick on the ball. Band Of Brothers's Hami Tuna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 85th minute of play. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evgenij Davydov hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Hami Tuna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Netherlands's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
