Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frank Sachs started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, kaya Bal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. EdirneSpor's Durmuş Gençoğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by kaya Bal in the 9th minute of play. EdirneSpor were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ali Asım Akar took the corner. After taking down the ball on EdirneSpor's corner Ali Asım Akar fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tommy Kahn quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 14th minute of play forced EdirneSpor's goalkeeper Sari Kanarya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nazil Mürsel in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malte Schiele to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute kaya Bal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. kaya Bal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nazil Mürsel in the 33rd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by kaya Bal in the 34th minute of play. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell kaya Bal to make the kick off. Chris Mergenthaler kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Sari Kanarya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Nazil Mürsel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Durmuş Gençoğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 61st match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulrich Stein to maneuver through the defense. Sari Kanarya didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frank Sachs went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of EdirneSpor booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albin Holweck didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, kaya Bal managed to get in a good position for a shot. EdirneSpor's supporters rose to their feet, but kaya Bal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adrian Dreifuss charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adrian Dreifuss the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 77th minute, Adrian Dreifuss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Germany's Frank Sachs in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye EdirneSpor's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Germany booed when EdirneSpor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Germany's goalkeeper couldn't reach when kaya Bal 92 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. After 95 minutes, Albin Holweck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Germany and the EdirneSpor players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th minute, Albin Holweck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
