If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Markus Vik in the 17th minute of play. A collision led to Henriksdalskajens SK getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Konrad Bronkala hit a great ball. Gijsbert ter Kruimer succeeded in the game's 19th minute to get real power on a long shot . Henriksdalskajens SK's Holer Nolan hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 0-1! If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the match, Wim Wilmes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Holer Nolan. Henriksdalskajens SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wim Wilmes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The supporters of Henriksdalskajens SK booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bas Tuitert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Holer Nolan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 34th minute of play. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessandro Clarkfeldt in the 40th minute of the match. In the 45th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Holer Nolan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gijsbert ter Kruimer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Holer Nolan made a huge save. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Holer Nolan came out and tried to block the shot, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 55th minute. With an all-out effort, Netherlands's Holer Nolan threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lars Meesters, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Holer Nolan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lars Meesters's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Netherlands's David Eikelkamp suffered a sore thigh after 64 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Hubert Ahlquist fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Henriksdalskajens SK's protests and gave Hubert Ahlquist a yellow card for diving instead. Netherlands's Sijmen Clous was substituted for David Eikelkamp. Hubert Ahlquist kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Markus Vik scored 1-3 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnout Reekers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Holer Nolan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Holer Nolan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 80th minute of play. In the 84th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Holer Nolan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Markus Vik in the 86th minute of play. Henriksdalskajens SK were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after Netherlands's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Magne Holmberg took the corner. Holer Nolan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 91 minutes, Konrad Bronkala mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Henriksdalskajens SK and the Netherlands players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st match minute, Henriksdalskajens SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Konrad Bronkala to maneuver through the defense. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Henriksdalskajens SK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Netherlands were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
