Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Adrian Ekelund got the match started through his kick off. Bertram Svenningsen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olov Lilja read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Sven-Olof Soned could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Keld Paulsen made a huge save. 10 minutes into the match, Fågelmara IK's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Olov Lilja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Denmark booed when Fågelmara IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dick Söderkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Dick Söderkvist threw the ball into play from the sideline. Denmark's Olav Graversen quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Bertram Svenningsen hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Olov Lilja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 26 minutes into the game, Chris Nygaard cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Olov Lilja was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dick Söderkvist got a throw-in 31 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Adrian Ekelund. Fågelmara IK's Adrian Ekelund got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olov Lilja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Nygaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 38th minute of play forced Fågelmara IK's goalkeeper Olov Lilja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl-Michael Lenberg hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute of the match Lars Steen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olov Lilja showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Erland Hult recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Denmark's Olav Graversen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dick Söderkvist, made in the 44th minute of the game. In the 45th minute, Bertram Svenningsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A throw-in in the 47th minute of the game was made by Dick Söderkvist with Karl-Michael Lenberg as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chris Nygaard to make the kick off. The supporters of Fågelmara IK booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikkel Wulff didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 51st minute of the match Karl-Michael Lenberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Keld Paulsen skillfully saved the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Aleksander Sjö had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Keld Paulsen. Denmark's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aleksander Sjö was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 59th minute, Erland Hult hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match, Fågelmara IK's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Olov Lilja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleksander Sjö in the 63rd minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrian Ekelund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Ekelund in the 74th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dick Söderkvist got a throw-in 76 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Sven-Olof Soned. 77 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Aleksander Sjö came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olov Lilja made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bertram Svenningsen in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute, Karl-Michael Lenberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bjarne Kirkegaard's late challenge caught a Fågelmara IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bjarne Kirkegaard helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bjarne Kirkegaard to maneuver through the defense. Bertram Svenningsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Olov Lilja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bertram Svenningsen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Olov Lilja made a huge save. In the 95th minute, Lars Steen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Fågelmara IK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Denmark had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
