Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edward Vanderstraeten took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 8th minute of play forced Fortuna 86 Szczecin's goalkeeper Stipe Pletikosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yves Dervaux blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stipe Pletikosa having to make a save. Edward Vanderstraeten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 12 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stipe Pletikosa. Fortuna 86 Szczecin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edward Vanderstraeten was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Fortuna 86 Szczecin's Stipe Pletikosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 15th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Nencho Shumarov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stipe Pletikosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Harun Mengüer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Casper Claes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Belgium's Casper Claes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Belgium from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Fortuna 86 Szczecin's Mariusz Gruchacz got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 41st minute Stasio Lichniak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Harun Mengüer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Harun Mengüer was the one to do the kick off. Stipe Pletikosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. The Fortuna 86 Szczecin fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Fortuna 86 Szczecin's Harun Mengüer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 63rd minute, Siebe Michiels left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Belgium fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. 66 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stipe Pletikosa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Stipe Pletikosa in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stipe Pletikosa made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. Edward Vanderstraeten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stipe Pletikosa having to make a save. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stipe Pletikosa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. A hard shot 74 in the game by Edward Vanderstraeten from a close distance when the talented Stipe Pletikosa managed to make a qualified save. Fortuna 86 Szczecin's players were relieved. 79 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Fortuna 86 Szczecin's Stipe Pletikosa. Stipe Pletikosa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 84 minutes into the match, Fortuna 86 Szczecin's goalkeeper Stipe Pletikosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Vanderstraeten. The supporters of Fortuna 86 Szczecin booed when Belgium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lenny Clocheret didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the game, Edward Vanderstraeten recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Stipe Pletikosa. Edward Vanderstraeten showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. The Fortuna 86 Szczecin fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Belgium were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
