Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Frank Peletier started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Maxime Durand was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mihail Chimeț showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 2 minute of play. Frank Peletier scored 1-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Horia Crăciunescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mihail Chimeț's late challenge caught a France's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mihail Chimeț helped the player get up and apologised. Mihail Chimeț hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Frank Peletier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Horia Crăciunescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Frank Peletier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The France fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gigi Floroiu in the 20th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Camille Baume had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Horia Crăciunescu. FC Inter Sibiu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Camille Baume was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Horia Crăciunescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remy Dupuy in the 26th minute of the match. With a little luck, France's Maxime Durand got control of the ball when Mihail Chimeț tried to sneak it across the goal line. Horia Crăciunescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Peletier, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Frank Peletier took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Horia Crăciunescu. Horia Crăciunescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Robert Chapuis hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute Frank Peletier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horia Crăciunescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Inter Sibiu were furious when Virgil Bogătan was red carded, 47 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 46th minute of the game. One of FC Inter Sibiu:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of France:s goal. David Barbier placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 50th minute, Eric Popeneciu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 51 played minutes, France's David Barbier shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Horia Crăciunescu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in France reached it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-5 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mihail Chimeț made a kick off. Frank Peletier scored 1-6 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Horia Crăciunescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 62 played minutes FC Inter Sibiu got a freekick which was hit by Leontin Manta. In the 63rd minute, France's Frank Peletier dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-7. Horia Crăciunescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camille Baume in the 66th minute of the match. Remy Dupuy hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 73 minutes into the match, Camille Baume had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Horia Crăciunescu. FC Inter Sibiu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Camille Baume was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-8. Frank Peletier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frank Peletier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Horia Crăciunescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Peletier got free with Horia Crăciunescu in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 83 minutes into the game, Valentin Negru was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Inter Sibiu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave France the free kick. In the 85th minute, Camille Baume got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Frank Peletier's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Horia Crăciunescu firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to FC Inter Sibiu getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Mihail Chimeț hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, France's Robert Chapuis got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 99th minute, Frank Peletier reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Horia Crăciunescu. The goal made the score 1-9. France's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
