Göran Juhlin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacinto Maurer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göran Juhlin having to interfere. The supporters of Switzerland booed when Jesus Lärjungar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Erik Alström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Göran Juhlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuele Kunz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the game, Lucas Ström threw the ball into play from the sideline. Switzerland's Jacinto Maurer quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Lucas Ström made in the 79th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Switzerland's Jacinto Maurer. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Jacinto Maurer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Switzerland's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacinto Maurer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Göran Juhlin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Göran Juhlin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuele Kunz in the 93rd minute of the match.
