Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Sandro Galishoff made the kick off and thus started the match. 4 minutes into the match, Þór's Kiljan Valbergsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabio Auer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jóann Sindrason took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabio Auer. Fabio Auer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Hallur Gustavsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Þór's Eymar Másson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Þór from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Sandro Galishoff managed to get in a good position for a shot. Austria's supporters rose to their feet, but Sandro Galishoff was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eymar Másson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabio Auer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jóann Sindrason, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Austria's Fabio Auer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jóann Sindrason in the 35th minute of play. In the 43rd minute Fabio Schneider shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eymar Másson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabio Auer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kiljan Valbergsson in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kiljan Valbergsson to make the kick off. Jonas Nalder hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute Sandro Galishoff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eymar Másson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabio Schneider fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eymar Másson having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Marvin Harrer notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Þór's Eymar Másson. Eymar Másson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Þór's goalkeeper Eymar Másson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leonhard Maier scored 2-1 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eymar Másson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Viktor Elbertsson fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Þór's protests and gave Viktor Elbertsson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th match minute, Þór was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viktor Elbertsson to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the match, Þór's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Schneider came free, but Eymar Másson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonhard Maier kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Eymar Másson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Schneider in the 94th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Austria fully deserved thier win.
