Buitenhout FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Issac Dawson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Buitenhout FC's goal looked a bit too open when Micah Macdonald came free, but Bertus Scheffer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 29 played minutes, England's Micah Macdonald shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bertus Scheffer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Bertus Scheffer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Micah Macdonald in the 36th minute of play. Bertus Scheffer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caelan Hayes, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Kyle Cox took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bertus Scheffer. Bertus Scheffer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Bertus Scheffer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavier Gallagher in the 45th minute of play. England's Khalid Kennedy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save England from getting a goal against them. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mickael van der Linden to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Micah Macdonald notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Buitenhout FC's Bertus Scheffer. Bertus Scheffer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Micah Macdonald in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bertus Scheffer, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyle Cox in the 59th minute of play forced Buitenhout FC's goalkeeper Bertus Scheffer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the game, Micah Macdonald cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Bertus Scheffer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 63rd minute, England's Kyle Cox dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Bertus Scheffer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Micah Macdonald in the 74th minute. Bertus Scheffer was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Micah Macdonald showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 76 minute of play. After some careless play in the Buitenhout FC defense, Micah Macdonald kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bertus Scheffer. The Buitenhout FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bertus Scheffer should have stopped the shot. Buitenhout FC's Bertus Scheffer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kyle Cox in the 82nd minute of play. Micah Macdonald came free with the goalkeeper in the 84th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bertus Scheffer could save by the left post. Bertus Scheffer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cooper Thompson in the 85th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Kyle Cox kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bertus Scheffer. That made the score 0-10 in the 86 minute of play. In the 89th minute, Micah Macdonald ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bertus Scheffer was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-11. Issac Dawson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bertus Scheffer came out and tried to block the shot, but Issac Dawson slotted it home off the left post making it 0-12 in the 93rd minute.
