In the 10th minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pepe Sarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leo Rosario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Claes having to interfere. Belgium's Sander Dermaut managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gheorghe Pupăzan in the 15 minute of the game. Pepe Sarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 15th minute of the match. In the 17thth minute of the game Edward Vanderstraeten who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KF Ballistet's Pepe Sarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Amado Godoy could shoot a difficult shot in the 19th minute, which Casper Claes however easily saved by the left post. 26 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pepe Sarro. KF Ballistet's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edward Vanderstraeten was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Edward Vanderstraeten took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pepe Sarro. Pepe Sarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind KF Ballistet's goalkeeper Pepe Sarro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, KF Ballistet's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Pepe Sarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pepe Sarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edward Vanderstraeten in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pepe Sarro saved KF Ballistet from getting behind.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amado Godoy was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Pepe Sarro in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in KF Ballistet's zone, Edward Vanderstraeten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pepe Sarro came out of the goal and Edward Vanderstraeten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, KF Ballistet's Pepe Sarro got control of the ball when Edward Vanderstraeten tried to sneak it across the goal line. Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Amado Godoy managed to get in a good position for a shot. KF Ballistet's supporters rose to their feet, but Amado Godoy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Casper Claes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 73rd minute of the match KF Ballistet got a corner. Belgium's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Selman Abazaj ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Selman Abazaj almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Belgium's Casper Claes did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Rosario in the 76th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edward Vanderstraeten who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Pepe Sarro when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
