Benedykt Andrzejewski made in the 50th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Portugal's Daniel Pimentel. In the 58th minute of the match Portugal got a corner. Bears are Back's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Felipe Barreto ran over to the corner to take the kick. 61 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Korneliusz Tokarczyk came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Cezary Adamowicz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Portugal's Wilson Amorim did a great save. Jan Faust made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 64th minute of play. Jan Faust was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Viriato Moura showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 71 minute of play. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. Felipinho Amorims short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Jan Faust to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jan Faust showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustino Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute.
