The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alan Rezek kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Vavrinec Holub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Quadros in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candido Valerón in the 15th minute of play forced Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gartzea Vera struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Vavrinec Holub didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MLM. After 19 minutes MLM's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Erik Jilek who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Czech Republic's Erik Jilek to fire away a dangerous shot which Bob Cazeneuve despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 21st minute, Dalimil Charvat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vavrinec Holub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrik Tidén in the 21st minute of play. When Erik Jilek came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Czech Republic fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erik Jilek couldn't finish the play. David Rusil's late challenge caught a MLM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Rusil helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th match minute, Czech Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Rusil to maneuver through the defense. In the 25thth minute of the game Candido Valerón who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 27th minute Tomás Quadros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vavrinec Holub saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bob Cazeneuve showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Dostal, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute Czech Republic were awarded a corner. Erik Jilek went to the cornerflag to take it. Erik Jilek made a great header on Czech Republic's corner, it was just that MLM's Bob Cazeneuve managed to reach the ball for a save. Cristos Huarte's late challenge caught a Czech Republic's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bob Cazeneuve showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Dostal in the 33rd minute of the match. MLM's Bob Cazeneuve played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Dostal in the 40th minute of play. Alan Rezek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bob Cazeneuve having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Erik Jilek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bob Cazeneuve was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Denis Dostal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bob Cazeneuve having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

55 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's goal looked a bit too open when Gartzea Vera came free, but Vavrinec Holub reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denis Dostal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bob Cazeneuve having to interfere. Bob Cazeneuve took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Jilek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute, Denis Dostal made a precise shot to the right of Bob Cazeneuve. MLM's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After 64 minutes MLM's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Erik Jilek who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Czech Republic's Erik Jilek to fire away a dangerous shot which Bob Cazeneuve despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. MLM made a substitution. Oliverio Lopez de Toro replaced Charro Alavedra. MLM's Sinforiano Dobale was substituted for Candido Valerón. A collision led to Czech Republic getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Valdemar Turecek hit a great ball. Czech Republic's Denis Dostal got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in MLM's zone, Alan Rezek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bob Cazeneuve came out of the goal and Alan Rezek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd minute, Denis Dostal made a precise shot to the right of Bob Cazeneuve. MLM's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Alan Rezek took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bob Cazeneuve. Bob Cazeneuve dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. With a little luck, Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub got control of the ball when Sinforiano Dobale tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vavrinec Holub made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sinforiano Dobale in the 95th minute. Czech Republic's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
