Kvetoslav Janku hit a great ball. Matthias Ahlstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vavrinec Holub having to interfere. If Matthias Ahlstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bosse Laden during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 67th minute, Bosse Laden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erik Jileks short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Håkan Deckbergh to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 77 minutes into the match, Denis Dostal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Håkan Deckbergh, 3-5. In the 84th minute, Alan Rezek made a precise shot to the right of Håkan Deckbergh. IFK Göteborg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-6. Bosse Laden kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Czech Republic were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over IFK Göteborg's much stronger midfield.
