Gláuber Brodel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kyle Cox's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. 27 minutes into the match, Morro Grande E.C's goal looked a bit too open when Kyle Cox came free, but Gláuber Brodel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Alfredinho Vieira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Micah Macdonald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 37 played minutes Morro Grande E.C got a freekick which was hit by Toninho Caca-Rato. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Habib Ali Picavea to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Caelan Hayes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. England's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Morro Grande E.C the free kick. The supporters of Morro Grande E.C booed when England was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caelan Hayes didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyle Cox in the 58th minute of play forced Morro Grande E.C's goalkeeper Gláuber Brodel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfredinho Vieira during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Morro Grande E.C's Alfredinho Vieira got a free kick in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyle Cox in the 61st minute of play forced Morro Grande E.C's goalkeeper Gláuber Brodel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Issac Dawson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélder Velasco in the 70th minute of play forced England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute, England's Kyle Cox ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gláuber Brodel. Gláuber Brodel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Micah Macdonald charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Micah Macdonald the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, England's Micah Macdonald got a free kick in the 90th minute. A collision led to England getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Issac Dawson hit a great ball. Gláuber Brodel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kyle Cox, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kyle Cox received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Gláuber Brodel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
