In the 3rd minute Anier Eneko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anier Eneko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pepe Le Petit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 16th minute of play. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Eneko in the 17th minute of play. TibaDons's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Uku Kosk in the 19th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Netherlands's zone, John Donnelly stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Donnelly in the 27th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pepe Le Petit made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 60th minute, Kamilo Glik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the match, TibaDons's goal looked a bit too open when David Eikelkamp came free, but Pepe Le Petit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Emander came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when John Donnelly came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Uku Kosk was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 93rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Eneko in the 95th minute of play. Netherlands's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
