Belgium's Nigel Devos managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sabin Ştercă in the 14 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorel Vintilescu in the 16th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Cunea came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The wind increased when Edward Vanderstraeten made the kick off in the second half. Flavius Ferenț showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 51st minute of the match. Flavius Ferenț took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Belgium's Casper Claes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Belgium from getting a goal against them. Rasnita's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Horaţiu Chelbea in the 58th minute. Horaţiu Chelbea made a great header on Rasnita's corner, it was just that Belgium's Casper Claes managed to reach the ball for a save. Gigel Apăvăloaie's late challenge caught a Belgium's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gigel Apăvăloaie helped the player get up and apologised. Gigel Apăvăloaie kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
