An unexpectedly hard shot by Albin Holweck in the 8th minute of play forced Átták's goalkeeper Máté Havass to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Tamás Takács had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zoltán Lévai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Germany's Albin Holweck got a free kick in the 27th minute. Tamás Takács who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Tommy Kahn when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Máté Havass showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albin Holweck in the 39th minute of the match. After having played for 41 minutes, Rafael Keresztes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Átták's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Keresztes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zoltán Lévai in the 43rd minute. Tamás Takács could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Illés Virág did an outstanding performance 66 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 2-0 to the right of an irritated Tommy Kahn in the goal. Albin Holweck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Tamás Takács came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. József Nyúl's late challenge caught a Germany's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. József Nyúl helped the player get up and apologised. József Nyúl kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Willy Stieler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. József Nyúl kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match.
