In the 18th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wiktor Ekström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Italy booed when Åsbro Flåsegutter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zdzislaw Barniszke didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Örjan Björk got free with Flavio Vittori in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wiktor Ekström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sigfrido Auletta, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Sigfrido Auletta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Åsbro Flåsegutter's Wiktor Ekström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 35th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Sebastian Biörling could shoot a difficult shot in the 39th minute, which Flavio Vittori however easily saved by the left post. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Petri Romeu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zaccheo Andolina made a kick off. Wiktor Ekström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siricio Liotta, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Wiktor Ekström made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Zaccheo Andolina sent off a good shot on target. In the 60th minute, Zaccheo Andolina made a precise shot to the right of Wiktor Ekström. Kent Ahlquist replaced Jonas Lundin. 65 minutes into the match, Åsbro Flåsegutter's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Wiktor Ekström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Åsbro Flåsegutter's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Porziano Marchitelli 74 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. Åsbro Flåsegutter's attentive Wiktor Ekström managed to snatch the ball when Eliseo Cutri made a throw-in in the 77th minute of the game. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. In the 85th minute of the game Eliseo Cutri made a throw-in which Sansone Vanella played forward. Italy's Guiscardo Davide managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Petri Romeu in the 86 minute of the game. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakub Michalski, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jakub Michalski in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavio Vittori saved Italy from getting behind. A nice corner shot did that Alf-Inge Sørum got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Flavio Vittori quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Italy's Eliseo Cutri quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Kent Ahlquist, made in the 93rd minute of the game. When the match was over Italy could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Åsbro Flåsegutter throughout the match.
