Laurent Elzen kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lex Dewolf in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. 39 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of The Wolfpack™'s Jean-Marie Van Bever. Jean-Marie Van Bever was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 46th minute, Antal Valentin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 47 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Szekeres Tamas. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antal Valentin was the one to do the kick off. Jean-Marie Van Bever made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 55th minute. After 56 played minutes The Wolfpack™ got a freekick which was hit by Oberst-Wilhelm Carabajal. In the 89th minute Lex Dewolf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Hungary booed when The Wolfpack™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerom Verhaert didn't get a good kick on the ball. The The Wolfpack™ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hungary were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
