Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 宋克国 in the 29th minute of play. 宋克国 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. 42 minutes into the game, Adrian Dreifuss was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave REAL SUOMI CF the free kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

REAL SUOMI CF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. REAL SUOMI CF's Ralf Hamnberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save REAL SUOMI CF from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers András Kelemen in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. A nice corner shot did that Donato Quadros got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tommy Kahn quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 宋克国 in the 66th minute of play. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralf Hamnberg having to interfere. The supporters of Germany booed when REAL SUOMI CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. After a defensive mix-up in REAL SUOMI CF's zone, Frank Sachs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ralf Hamnberg came out of the goal and Frank Sachs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Donato Quadros came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the REAL SUOMI CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donato Quadros couldn't finish the play. During the 91st minute of the match Adrian Dreifuss completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Adrian Dreifuss a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. 91 minutes into the game, one of Germany:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 94th minute there was a penalty for REAL SUOMI CF. Donato Quadros stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tommy Kahn. 8-0. When REAL SUOMI CF's 宋克国 in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Germany's goalie prevented a goal.
