An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 9th minute of play forced Brunatni Bełchatów's goalkeeper Sonny Ahlerot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sonny Ahlerot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albin Holweck in the 11th minute of the match. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sonny Ahlerot having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Sachs made a kick off. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great ball. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gwidon Tomaka in the 61st minute of play. Zachary Piechocki succeeded in the game's 62nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1.
