After 18 minutes of play, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ali Macit Ilıcan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gijsbert ter Kruimer's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. After having played for 24 minutes, Cumhur Tanacan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. &&&...BoZaNoGLu...&&&'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Cumhur Tanacan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, &&&...BoZaNoGLu...&&&'s Cumhur Tanacan got a free kick in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 38th minute of play forced &&&...BoZaNoGLu...&&&'s goalkeeper Ali Macit Ilıcan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Gust Ennemans in the 39th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by &&&...BoZaNoGLu...&&&'s Müfit Mehdi. Ali Macit Ilıcan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. 46 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ali Macit Ilıcan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Wim Wilmes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 77th minute &&&...BoZaNoGLu...&&& were awarded a corner. Bilgin Erol went to the cornerflag to take it. Bilgin Erol made a great header on &&&...BoZaNoGLu...&&&'s corner, it was just that Netherlands's Arnout Reekers managed to reach the ball for a save. Ali Macit Ilıcan was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Wim Wilmes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wim Wilmes really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. Gijsbert ter Kruimer's late challenge caught a &&&...BoZaNoGLu...&&&'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gijsbert ter Kruimer helped the player get up and apologised. Tammo Bebin might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnout Reekers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tammo Bebin ran back to his position shaking his head. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Ali Macit Ilıcan made a huge save. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 89th minute. The corner led Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer to fire away a dangerous shot which Ali Macit Ilıcan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Netherlands booed when &&&...BoZaNoGLu...&&& was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gökberk Urandu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The &&&...BoZaNoGLu...&&& fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Netherlands were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
