Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zaccheo Andolina to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Siricio Liotta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cihat Ecemiş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute, Gianpaolo Mascari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Deodato Magliozzi kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rahim Niğdeli in the 58th minute of the match. A collision led to Büyükçekmece FC. getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Burhan Tunçbay hit a great ball. The long shot by Sigfrido Auletta in the 61st minute really tested Cihat Ecemiş's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Sigfrido Auletta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Cihat Ecemiş made a huge save. The supporters of Italy booed when Büyükçekmece FC. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Korkutalp Sanih didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cihat Ecemiş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigfrido Auletta in the 68th minute of play. With a little luck, Büyükçekmece FC.'s Cihat Ecemiş got control of the ball when Zaccheo Andolina tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zaccheo Andolina might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cihat Ecemiş. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zaccheo Andolina ran back to his position shaking his head. Büyükçekmece FC.'s Cihat Ecemiş proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Büyükçekmece FC. from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rahim Niğdeli in the 85th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Büyükçekmece FC.'s goalkeeper Cihat Ecemiş, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Italy's Guiscardo Davide was substituted for Sigfrido Auletta. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. Augustin Bogdan got a throw-in 94 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Rahim Niğdeli. Rahim Niğdeli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Italy's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
