Aaron Loramendi was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 13 minutes into the match. Vavrinec Holub was left in no man's land by his defense there! Denis Dostal hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Denis Dostal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Verner Söderström having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Czech Republic's Daniel Vitek got a free kick in the 84th minute. The Czech Republic players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
