Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Aldo Damasco kicked off to start the match. In the 6th minute, Aldo Damasco made a precise shot to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 8th minute, Vladimir Couto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Portugal booed when Deportivo Damasco F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Merolla didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes in the game, Daniel Pimentel fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Avram Popoiu having to interfere. Portugal's attentive Bruno Bastos managed to snatch the ball when Bonifaco Montoya made a throw-in in the 19th minute of the game. 27 minutes into the match, Deportivo Damasco F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Avram Popoiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldo Damasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aldo Damasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. Bonifaco Montoya kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After 35 played minutes Deportivo Damasco F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Bonifaco Montoya. In the 36th minute of the match, Daniel Pimentel tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Avram Popoiu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Felipe Barreto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Avram Popoiu made a huge save. A collision led to Deportivo Damasco F.C. getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Montxo Cabero hit a great ball. With his leg Avram Popoiu managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when Portugal's Felipe Barreto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guaberto Ramone during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Damasco F.C.'s Guaberto Ramone got a free kick in the 45th minute. If Felipe Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Avram Popoiu made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Felipe Barreto sent off a good shot on target. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Deportivo Damasco F.C. made a substitution. Roman Corte replaced Aldo Damasco. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viriato Moura made a kick off. Deportivo Damasco F.C.'s Avram Popoiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 52nd minute of play. Felipe Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Wilson Amorim made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Vladimir Couto sent off a good shot on target. In the 57th minute Deportivo Damasco F.C. were awarded a corner. Guillem Bugedo went to the cornerflag to take it. At last the ball reached Roman Corte at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Portugal. 0-2. 63 minutes into the match, Deportivo Damasco F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Avram Popoiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64thth minute of the game Viriato Moura who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Damasco F.C.'s Avram Popoiu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Avram Popoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 66th minute of play. Wilson Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vladimir Couto in the 69th minute. Avram Popoiu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felipe Barreto went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Deportivo Damasco F.C. made a substitution. Guilherme Sarandeses replaced Montxo Cabero. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Corte, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Avram Popoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipinho Amorim in the 77th minute of play. Wilson Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Federico Lertora in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiadoro Cores in the 85th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute Guilherme Sarandeses shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Federico Lertora charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Federico Lertora the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Portugal made a substitution. Camilo Costa replaced Rodolfo Miranda. In the 90th minute Felipinho Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avram Popoiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 95 minutes Deportivo Damasco F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Pimentel who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Camilo Costa heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The Portugal supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Deportivo Damasco F.C.'s performance. The match ended with a win for Deportivo Damasco F.C..
