Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Anıl Mücahit Efe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anıl Mücahit Efe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Balazs Lajos in the 30th minute of the match. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Mauro Icardi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alptuğ Gözlem hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

In the 55th minute, Antal Valentin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erzincan FK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alptuğ Gözlem in the 58th minute. Erzincan FK's Mauro Icardi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fodor Daniel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ariel Ortega's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fodor Daniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Erzincan FK's Ariel Ortega. But to his dismay, Ariel Ortega quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. A sloppy throw-in by Szekeres Tamas in the 90th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Erzincan FK's Estevão Viana. After 91 played minutes Erzincan FK got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Ali Cebe. When Mauro Icardi came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Erzincan FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauro Icardi couldn't finish the play.
