Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) FC United's Beniamin Bejger started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Primitivo Tebaldo in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 8th minute of play forced FC United's goalkeeper Zdzislaw Jestrimski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute Beniamin Bejger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Zdzislaw Jestrimski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zdzislaw Jestrimski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Major Barna scored 1-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zdzislaw Jestrimski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in FC United's zone, Antal Valentin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zdzislaw Jestrimski came out of the goal and Antal Valentin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zdzislaw Jestrimski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 23rd minute of play. After having played for 26 minutes, Takacs Tibor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Takacs Tibor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Antal Valentin got a free kick in the 34th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Hungary's Major Barna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zdzislaw Jestrimski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antal Valentin in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zdzislaw Jestrimski saved FC United from getting behind. When Rafal Barys fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC United's protests and gave Rafal Barys a yellow card for diving instead. Rafal Barys hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Zdzislaw Jestrimski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. FC United's Zdzislaw Jestrimski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 46th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of FC United's Zdzislaw Jestrimski. Zdzislaw Jestrimski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antal Valentin made a kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Balazs Lajos to maneuver through the defense. If Takacs Tibor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 62 minutes of play, Hungary's Takacs Tibor made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zdzislaw Jestrimski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Zdzislaw Jestrimski made a huge save. After 69 minutes FC United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. Zdzislaw Jestrimski was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Antal Valentin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Antal Valentin really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlo Puglielli in the 78th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hungary's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mikolaj Sidor was slow to take the kick. During this time FC United's players had a chance to rest. The corner led FC United's Mikolaj Sidor to fire away a dangerous shot which Fodor Daniel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC United's zone, Major Barna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zdzislaw Jestrimski came out of the goal and Major Barna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC United's Zdzislaw Jestrimski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save FC United from getting a goal against them. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC United's goalkeeper Zdzislaw Jestrimski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hungary's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
