With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Ludwig Kloots tried to sneak it across the goal line. Albin Holweck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carel Van de Schrieck read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Albin Holweck struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Carel Van de Schrieck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germany. After some careless play in the Germany defense, 龚康松 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Sachs was the one to do the kick off. When Frank Sachs fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Frank Sachs a yellow card for diving instead. Frank Sachs kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Café DE PLOEG's Brian Verhaghen got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Café DE PLOEG's Ludwig Kloots. But to his dismay, Ludwig Kloots quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Café DE PLOEG's Romain Mesmakers was substituted for 龚康松. 87 minutes in the game Alfred Van der Veken did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Michael Wollans. In the 89th minute, Frank Sachs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Michael Wollans notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
