Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heliodoro Verdu in the 33rd minute of play. Agustin Orion made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell İsrafil Yağız to make the kick off. Agustin Orion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 55th minute of the match. Egbert Nijveldt hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 84th match minute, Tough and Tasty FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henning Norström to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the match, Tough and Tasty FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Agustin Orion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute, Wim Wilmes made a precise shot to the right of Agustin Orion. Tough and Tasty FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Heliodoro Verdu made in the 93rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt. Netherlands's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
