Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Géza Herman made the kick off and thus started the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Géza Herman in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henrich Slany saved Slovakia from getting behind. When Géza Herman, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 4 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Henrich Slany was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Henrich Slany took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Géza Herman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Slovakia booed when Andrashida was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Vándor didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 11 minutes, Metod Mlynar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Slovakia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Metod Mlynar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pavol Koleno hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After 14 played minutes Slovakia got a freekick which was hit by Ondrej Biskup. Andrashida's Kálmán Szaniszló got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Norbert Kalmár during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Norbert Kalmár kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Andrashida's József Fekete got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Metod Mlynar hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute Géza Herman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrich Slany saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Slovakia's zone, András Káposztás stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrich Slany came out of the goal and András Káposztás tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Metod Mlynar made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 33rdth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Ignác Fejes would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Kálmán Szaniszló managed to get in a good position for a shot. Andrashida's supporters rose to their feet, but Kálmán Szaniszló was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henrich Slany breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Suchy during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Slovakia's Daniel Suchy got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute of the match Kálmán Szaniszló sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Henrich Slany skillfully saved the ball. Henrich Slany showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Géza Herman in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Metod Mlynar was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Andrashida booed when Slovakia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kornel Jahoda didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Holub in the 54th minute of play forced Andrashida's goalkeeper Ignác Fejes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Metod Mlynar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ignác Fejes. Andrashida's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Metod Mlynar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 62nd minute, Oliver Holub got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Metod Mlynar put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ignác Fejes. Slovakia's attentive Kornel Jahoda managed to snatch the ball when Norbert Kalmár made a throw-in in the 71st minute of the game. 76 minutes into the match, Tamás Lázár had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henrich Slany. Slovakia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tamás Lázár was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After 80 minutes of play, Slovakia's Metod Mlynar made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ignác Fejes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Oliver Holub received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Ignác Fejes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. András Káposztás struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Henrich Slany didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Andrashida. 90 minutes into the match, Andrashida's goal looked a bit too open when Metod Mlynar came free, but Ignác Fejes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, Pavol Koleno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute Kálmán Szaniszló shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrich Slany saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Andrashida players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Slovakia.
