Lautaro L.P.'s Salvador Ortega played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute Fulco Urra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hungary's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Andolín Echeandía scored to the left of an out of position Fodor Daniel, making the score, 1-0. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salvador Ortega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Thanks to some nice moves Major Barna could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Salvador Ortega however easily saved by the left post. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andolín Echeandía, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Danilo Euloxu hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Antal Valentin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Salvador Ortega firmly grabbed it by the left post.
