Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Songurbey Aksungur in the 14th minute of play. Antal Valentin in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ali Cafer İrfanoğlu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Songurbey Aksungur in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 25 minutes into the game, Antal Valentin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ali Cafer İrfanoğlu. Antal Valentin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Balazs Lajos struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Ali Cafer İrfanoğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. After 31 played minutes Kırşehirspor got a freekick which was hit by Süleyman Yiğitoğlu. Ali Cafer İrfanoğlu made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Antal Valentin sent off a good shot on target. When Hegedus Henrik fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hungary's protests and gave Hegedus Henrik a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Hegedus Henrik got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Songurbey Aksungur charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Songurbey Aksungur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th match minute, Kırşehirspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Songurbey Aksungur to maneuver through the defense. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Kırşehirspor's Songurbey Aksungur. But to his dismay, Songurbey Aksungur quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 42nd minute Gafur Elmastaş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hungary's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Selami Sarif was slow to take the kick. During this time Kırşehirspor's players had a chance to rest. In the 46th match minute, Kırşehirspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afşin Uzcan to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antal Valentin to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Songurbey Aksungur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 54 minutes into the match, Kırşehirspor's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Ali Cafer İrfanoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Takacs Tibor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Takacs Tibor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodor Daniel was a little too slow when Songurbey Aksungur got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 1-2. Ali Cafer İrfanoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hegedus Henrik, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Antal Valentin might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ali Cafer İrfanoğlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Antal Valentin ran back to his position shaking his head. 79 minutes into the match, Major Barna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ali Cafer İrfanoğlu. Kırşehirspor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Major Barna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3.
