Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Haganäsgränd TT's goalkeeper Ian Brun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 6th minute Belgium were awarded a corner. Edward Vanderstraeten went to the cornerflag to take it. 7 minutes into the match, Haganäsgränd TT's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Ian Brun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roland Karlsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Casper Claes made a huge save. Casper Claes made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Nils Billing sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nils Billing got free with Casper Claes in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28th minute Yves Dervaux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Brun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Roland Karlsson notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Belgium's Casper Claes. Casper Claes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 33rd minute Lenny Clocheret shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Brun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roland Karlsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Claes having to interfere. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Edward Vanderstraeten sped through Haganäsgränd TT's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ian Brun. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The supporters of Belgium booed when Haganäsgränd TT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolf Sandström didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten from long distance, 61 minutes into the match, got Ian Brun's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 62nd minute of play forced Haganäsgränd TT's goalkeeper Ian Brun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ian Brun was a little too slow when Edward Vanderstraeten got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 2-3. With a little luck, Haganäsgränd TT's Ian Brun got control of the ball when Edward Vanderstraeten tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ian Brun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edward Vanderstraeten went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Karlsson in the 76th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Haganäsgränd TT's Ian Brun got control of the ball when Edward Vanderstraeten tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Yves Dervaux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Karlsson in the 84th minute of play. Edward Vanderstraeten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Ian Brun made a huge save. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Karlsson in the 91st minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ian Brun. Haganäsgränd TT's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edward Vanderstraeten was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5.
