Northern Lights's You Fei got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 21st minute, You Fei left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Northern Lights fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 23rd minute Lenny Clocheret shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Başaran Ötüken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edward Vanderstraeten to make the kick off. But to his dismay, Edward Vanderstraeten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Başaran Ötüken was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 81st minute, You Fei reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Casper Claes. The goal made the score 4-3. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Başaran Ötüken read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. If Yves Dervaux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
