Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gijsbert ter Kruimer got the match started through his kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Torbjörn Bratt in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 8th minute. Wim Wilmes was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. David Eikelkamp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torbjörn Bratt having to interfere. Torbjörn Bratt made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. In the 17th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. Vissefjärda IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvin Tingberg in the 21st minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Vissefjärda IF's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Torbjörn Bratt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michael Fridlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnout Reekers having to interfere. Torbjörn Bratt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 35th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Vissefjärda IF's goalkeeper Torbjörn Bratt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. In the 43rd minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torbjörn Bratt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Vissefjärda IF's Alfred Lindqvist got a free kick in the 45th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Torbjörn Bratt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 55th minute of the match. Torbjörn Bratt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 67th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustaaf Groeneveldt to maneuver through the defense. Michael Fridlund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnout Reekers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torbjörn Bratt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 80 minutes Vissefjärda IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. Torbjörn Bratt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 91 minutes of play, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Torbjörn Bratt was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Vissefjärda IF getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Dennis Thedin hit a great ball. There was no doubt that Netherlands were the better team. Netherlands's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
