The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Spain's goalkeeper Gabriel Ascaso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 13th minute Adria Bielsa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimo Ülend saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th match minute, Korona Kielce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giles Knott to maneuver through the defense. After 16 played minutes, Spain's Omar Toledo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Raimo Ülend came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Cenk Ademoğlu hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Omar Toledo struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Raimo Ülend didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spain. 27 minutes into the game, Omar Toledo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Raimo Ülend was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 31 minutes into the match, Korona Kielce's goal looked a bit too open when Adria Bielsa came free, but Raimo Ülend reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Spain's Gabriel Ascaso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Spain from getting a goal against them. Gabriel Ascaso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabi Martinelli in the 36th minute of play. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 38th minute, but Gabriel Ascaso got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Spain hanging dry this time. In the 39th minute Korona Kielce were awarded a corner. Ray Atkins went to the cornerflag to take it. Gabriel Ascaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Macedo in the 40th minute of the match. Gabi Martinelli in the 45thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gabriel Ascaso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Alex Macedo struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Gabriel Ascaso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Korona Kielce. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Omar Toledo was the one to do the kick off. Gabriel Ascaso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Macedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Korona Kielce's Gabi Martinelli got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Korona Kielce's Raimo Ülend played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Aranda in the 58th minute of play. Ray Atkins's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabriel Ascaso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adria Bielsa in the 62nd minute of play forced Korona Kielce's goalkeeper Raimo Ülend to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Abel Krorby fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Korona Kielce's protests and gave Abel Krorby a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd minute, Abel Krorby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Korona Kielce's Nicolae Dobrin was substituted for Gabi Martinelli. The supporters of Spain booed when Korona Kielce was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Krorby didn't get a good kick on the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Spain's goal looked a bit too open when Chesney Summers came free, but Gabriel Ascaso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Seb Hedges in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gabriel Ascaso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 85 minutes into the match, Korona Kielce's goalkeeper Raimo Ülend had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carles Cherro. Spain's Gabriel Ascaso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Seb Hedges in the 91st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicolae Dobrin in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gabriel Ascaso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Spain played a much better game than Korona Kielce and deserved their victory. The Korona Kielce players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
