After taking down the ball on FC Chorchoj's corner Lino Policarpio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Wilson Amorim quite easily take care of the ball. Dyllen Reijnders sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Pimentel charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Pimentel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 16 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Pimentel. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Vedillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But to his dismay, Emilio Vedillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Moura in the 34th minute of play forced FC Chorchoj's goalkeeper Zheng Jian Yi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over FC Chorchoj could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Portugal throughout the match.
