Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edward Fransson took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Major Barna in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sven-Arne Pihlgren saved FC Pepsi from getting behind. Antal Valentin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sven-Arne Pihlgren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Major Barna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Arne Pihlgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Håkan Johnsson struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Fodor Daniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Pepsi. Major Barna struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Sven-Arne Pihlgren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. Sven-Arne Pihlgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hegedus Henrik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antal Valentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sven-Arne Pihlgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Sven-Arne Pihlgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 30th minute of the match. Antal Valentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them. Hungary's Major Barna got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Hungary booed when FC Pepsi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig Dahlman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, FC Pepsi's goal looked a bit too open when Balazs Lajos came free, but Sven-Arne Pihlgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Pepsi's Sven-Arne Pihlgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 46th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 47th minute of play forced FC Pepsi's goalkeeper Sven-Arne Pihlgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antal Valentin was the one to do the kick off. Major Barna who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Sven-Arne Pihlgren when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Harald Ek fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Pepsi's protests and gave Harald Ek a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in FC Pepsi's zone, Takacs Tibor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven-Arne Pihlgren came out of the goal and Takacs Tibor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 58 minutes, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antal Valentin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Antal Valentin could shoot a difficult shot in the 63rd minute, which Sven-Arne Pihlgren however easily saved by the left post. In the 64th minute, Stig Dahlman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sven-Arne Pihlgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 65th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Major Barna got free with Sven-Arne Pihlgren in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Pepsi's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Pepsi's goalkeeper Sven-Arne Pihlgren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Major Barna struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Sven-Arne Pihlgren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. Sven-Arne Pihlgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Major Barna in the 77th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Antal Valentin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sven-Arne Pihlgren. That made the score 0-2 in the 78 minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Hegedus Henrik notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of FC Pepsi's Sven-Arne Pihlgren. Sven-Arne Pihlgren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With his leg Sven-Arne Pihlgren managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Hungary's Antal Valentin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 85 minutes, Antal Valentin made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. FC Pepsi's Sven-Arne Pihlgren tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Pepsi's goalkeeper Sven-Arne Pihlgren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 94 minutes FC Pepsi's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Boros Benedek managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stig Dahlman during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hungary's Balazs Norbert was substituted for Major Barna. Stig Dahlman hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The FC Pepsi fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hungary were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
